Alpine & Repealing Towers
NTYA has a repelling tower and canoes that can be utilized for
various other therapeutic outdoor activities. These activities are
also offered on a volunteer basis as an enhancement to the
therapeutic process for each student’s individual needs.
NTYA also has an area for all students and staff to exercise within
their own limits. No student is forced to participate in the
obstacle course which is utilized to develop healthy bodies and
strong minds. The field was developed to provide those students that
are not as athletic as others the opportunity to participate in all
phases of the obstacle course. Balance Beam, Climbing Wall, and a
Push Up Station were established to offer physical exercise for all.
